With continuing developments in the national curriculum, and with governments and parents alike pushing schools to include IT in more and more of school life, there is now more than ever a need for the provision of robust, stable networked machines, without the pricetag that is often attached by the blue chip providers.

At HCL we are well aware of the financial and technological pressures facing schools under the onslaught of the wired world, and have substantial experience in providing IT equipment that is both reliable, robust enough to withstand continuous use by hundreds of cantankerous users, and priced sensibly and fairly. We will always explain clearly and openly which parts of each quote cost what, and thereby allow you to remove any items you see as unnecessary. We are also happy to allow you to purchase educational software licenses through your usual software vendor to enable you to get the best value for your money.

Providing internet and email access to pupils' computers is also an issue to which we are sensitive. We can provide access restrictions, filtering for inappropriate content, and enable you, the teacher, to control who has access to what, and when.
